Restoration & plantation
Native-species planting on degraded land, with aftercare schedules and survival monitoring rather than a single planting-day photograph.
About us
Green Troopers does environmental work on the ground and builds the systems that make that work verifiable. Both halves are the point.
Mission
Our mission is to restore and protect ecosystems with communities, and to make what happens afterwards visible — so that a planting drive, a cleanup or a campus programme can be examined rather than simply believed.
That means doing the unglamorous parts properly: recording locations, returning to sites, counting what survived, and publishing methods that someone else could check. It is slower than announcing numbers. It is the only version that compounds.
Vision
Every Green Troopers site has a record: what was planted or removed, where, when, by whom, and what condition it is in now.
The AI toolset does the heavy lifting on monitoring, so a small team can track many sites without guessing.
Restoration work that meets an independent verification standard, opening the door to properly validated climate finance.
Values
We would rather publish a modest verified number than an impressive estimate.
A project is not finished on the day of the drive. It is finished when it survives.
Technology serves the people doing the work. It does not overrule them.
No qualification, no fee, no prior experience required to take part.
Programmes

Native-species planting on degraded land, with aftercare schedules and survival monitoring rather than a single planting-day photograph.

Recovery drives paired with hotspot mapping, so repeat sites get an upstream fix instead of an annual clean.

Structured programmes for schools, colleges and campuses, including the Green Campus Score assessment.

Impact stories
We are not publishing impact figures on this page until each one has a site record and a monitoring result behind it. Verified project write-ups will appear here as they are completed, and interim field notes are published on the Blogs page in the meantime.
Transparency
Transparency is not a paragraph about transparency. It is documents you can request and methods you can inspect.
Volunteer & CSR
Volunteering is open to anyone, with no experience needed. Come to a drive, learn the method, and keep coming.
Corporate and CSR partnerships fund restoration and bring employees into the field, with reporting that describes what was delivered rather than what was intended.
We recruit for field coordination, programme delivery, data and engineering roles as funding allows, and run internships for students working on environmental monitoring and restoration.
Open roles are not listed at the moment. Send a short note about what you do and we will keep it on file rather than lose it.
Partners
We will not display a logo wall of organisations we have not formally partnered with. Confirmed partners will be listed here by name, with what the partnership covers. To discuss one, use the contact form or see corporate and CSR pathways.
Neighbourhood, school, campus or company — if you can bring the people, we can bring the method.
