Get involved
Six ways in. All of them real.
Every pathway below has a clear description, a clear commitment and a clear next step. Pick the one that matches how much you can give.
Volunteer
Join a drive near you
Turn up to a plantation or cleanup, learn the method, and come back. No experience, qualification or fee is required — the only thing that matters is that you return.
- Attend restoration and cleanup drives
- Train in planting, aftercare and site recording
- Progress to leading a site or a team
Campaigns
Back a specific piece of work
Campaigns fund a defined project with a defined outcome — a site, a season, a piece of equipment. They run on external crowdfunding platforms and appear on our Give page automatically while they are live.
- See exactly what a campaign is funding
- Track progress against the goal
- Campaigns disappear from the site when they close
Environmental programmes
Bring a programme to your area
A programme is a longer commitment than a drive: a site, a schedule, a monitoring plan and a local team. This is how a one-day event becomes a landscape that changes.
- Site assessment and species selection
- Planting, aftercare and survival monitoring
- Reporting your community can actually read
Schools, colleges & campuses
Make an institution measurably greener
Structured programmes for schools, colleges and campuses, including the Green Campus Score assessment — waste, water, energy, green cover and behaviour, scored and re-scored so improvement is visible.
- Student-led environmental societies with a real remit
- Campus assessment and improvement plan
- Curriculum-friendly sessions and field days
Corporate & CSR
Fund work, and send your people to it
CSR partnerships combine funding with participation. Employees join real field days, and reporting describes what was delivered and what survived — not what was hoped for.
- Funded restoration with a named site
- Employee participation days
- Reporting suitable for CSR disclosure
Community initiatives
Start something where you live
Residents’ groups, housing societies and neighbourhood collectives running their own drives with our method, materials guidance and support.
- Guidance on site selection and permissions
- Method notes and volunteer briefing materials
- Support from a Green Troopers coordinator
Organise an event
You bring the people. We bring the method.
Tell us where, roughly when, and how many people you can gather. We will come back with what is realistic at that site and in that season — which sometimes means suggesting something different from what you asked for.
Tell us the basics
Location, rough date, expected numbers.
We assess
Site suitability, species or waste type, permissions needed.
We plan together
Materials, briefing, roles and the aftercare schedule.
It runs, and it keeps running
The site gets a record and a monitoring return.
Propose an event
Tell us what you have in mind. Nothing is committed by sending this.
Not sure which one fits?
Say a little about your situation and we will point you at the right pathway rather than the biggest one.
