Plantation & restoration drives
Half a day on site. Species selection is done in advance; you plant, you record what you planted, and the site goes onto an aftercare schedule. Suitable for first-timers.
Events
Plantation drives, cleanups, campus programmes and training sessions. Scheduled events appear below with registration where it is open.
Calendar
Dated events are published here as they are confirmed, with location, description, participant numbers and a registration link. We do not list placeholder dates. To be told when something opens near you, join as a volunteer — or propose an event of your own.
For the site owner: events are added to
assets/data/events.json. Each event gets a detail page at
pages/event.html?id=<id>, which works on plain static
hosting — no server-side routing and no Node runtime required.
What we run
These are the formats. Dates go on the calendar above when a site, a permission and a team are all confirmed — in that order.

Half a day on site. Species selection is done in advance; you plant, you record what you planted, and the site goes onto an aftercare schedule. Suitable for first-timers.

Shoreline, lakeside and neighbourhood recovery, with segregation and a composition record so the site's waste profile is known rather than guessed.

Multi-session programmes rather than single assemblies: a student society, a campus assessment, an improvement plan, and a re-score.

Method, safety, site recording and how to run a drive yourself. This is how a volunteer becomes a site lead.
Environmental map
A map of plantations, projects, events, biodiversity records, waste hotspots and participating institutions.
The interactive map is not connected yet.
A mapping provider key is required before live points can be plotted, and we would rather show this than an empty grey rectangle. The layers below are the ones the map will carry, and the filter controls already work on the list underneath.

Multi-season restoration programmes. Awaiting first published records.
Scheduled drives, plotted as they are confirmed. None scheduled.
Species records contributed by volunteers. Collection begins with the Biodiversity Identifier.
Repeat dumping locations. Awaiting first published records.
