Green Troopers AI
Environmental intelligence, built for the field.
Ten tools that exist to answer one question about environmental work: did it actually do anything? Each is labelled honestly, so you can see what runs today and what does not.
The ecosystem
Not a product. A measurement layer under real work.
Green Troopers AI is not a separate business bolted onto an environmental charity. It exists because our own field teams could not answer basic questions about their own sites without walking every one of them.
The tools are designed around that constraint: cheap inputs a volunteer can capture on a phone, outputs a coordinator can act on the same week, and a record that still means something three years later.
Ten tools
What exists, and what does not.
Three states, used strictly. Available means you can use it today. Prototype means it works internally on real data but is not open to the public. Planned means designed and specified, not built.
Tree Health Monitor
Estimates canopy vigour and survival at a planted site from repeat imagery, so aftercare goes to the plots that need it instead of the ones nearest the road.
PrototypeAI Waste Detection
Classifies waste types from drive photographs to turn a cleanup into a composition record — what was collected, not just how many bags.
PrototypeGreen Carbon Calculator
Produces an indicative sequestration estimate from species, count, age and site conditions. An estimate is not a credit; see verification below.
PrototypeAI Plantation Planner
Recommends species mixes and spacing for a specific site from soil, rainfall and existing cover, favouring native species over fast-growing ones.
PlannedBiodiversity Identifier
Identifies species from volunteer photographs to build a returning-species record for a restoration site over time.
PlannedIllegal Dumping Detection
Flags repeat dumping locations from reports and imagery so the upstream cause can be addressed rather than the same site cleaned again.
PlannedAir Quality Prediction
Short-range local air quality outlooks to help schools and campuses decide when to move activity indoors.
PlannedGreen Campus Score
Scores an institution on waste, water, energy, green cover and behaviour, then re-scores it so improvement is visible rather than asserted.
PrototypeEco Reward Platform
Recognition for verified action — badges, certificates and impact points. Recognition only: Green Troopers does not offer cash rewards.
PlannedEnvironmental Chatbot
The assistant in the corner of this site. It answers from this website only and says so; a connected model can be enabled server-side later.
AvailableNine of the ten are not publicly available yet. We would rather show you the real state of the work than a page of buttons that do nothing.
Interface previews
What these look like when they run.
Static previews of the working interfaces. They contain no readings, because there is no live data behind this page.
An estimate produced here is an estimate. It is not a carbon credit and is not tradeable.
PrototypeVerification & carbon
Planting a tree does not create a carbon credit.
It is worth being blunt about this, because a great deal of marketing implies otherwise. A credit is the end of a long chain of measurement and independent scrutiny. Here is the whole chain, and where our tools sit in it.
-
Environmental action
Planting, protection or restoration happens at a defined site, with the location, species, count and date recorded at the time.
-
AI-assisted measurement
Our tools estimate survival, canopy growth and site condition from repeat imagery. This is measurement support, not certification.
-
Monitoring over time
Repeated passes across years. A single snapshot proves nothing; the value is entirely in the return visits.
-
Carbon estimation against a methodology
Estimates calculated under a published methodology with its own rules on baselines, additionality, leakage and permanence.
-
Independent validation and verification
A third party, not Green Troopers, checks the project design and then the reported results. Nothing we say about our own work substitutes for this.
-
Potential carbon-credit eligibility
Only after appropriate validation and verification does a project become potentially eligible for credits under a registry's rules.
-
Transparent impact reporting
Whatever the outcome, the site record and monitoring returns are what we publish — including where results fell short.
Our position, stated plainly
Green Troopers does not issue carbon credits, does not sell offsets, and does not claim that its plantings have generated credits. Where we describe carbon, we describe potential carbon-credit eligibility after appropriate validation and verification — and nothing stronger.
Eco rewards
Recognition for verified action.
The Eco Reward Platform recognises action that has actually been confirmed — not action that was merely reported.
Actions that can be recognised
- Tree planting with a site record
- Recycling and waste segregation
- Volunteering hours at drives
- Event participation and organisation
- Public transport commitments
- Completing environmental education modules
Forms of recognition
- Badges tied to specific verified actions
- Certificates for volunteers and institutions
- Rankings for campuses and teams
- Impact points that accumulate over time
Recognition only. Green Troopers does not offer cash rewards, and any page promising them is not ours.
